1. About This Platform
PinShot is a technology platform that enables users to search for available tee times and authorise us to submit booking requests on their behalf at golf courses in Japan. We act as a booking agent for the user — not as a travel agent, tour operator, or party to the golf reservation contract itself.
By using this platform you authorise PinShot to act as your agent in submitting reservation requests to golf course websites.
2. Booking Process
- Select a course, date, tee time, and player count.
- Provide your contact details and authorise a payment hold.
- We submit the reservation request to the course on your behalf.
- Once confirmed, your payment is captured and a confirmation email is sent.
- If the booking cannot be completed, your payment hold is released in full.
Confirmation is typically completed within 24 hours. We will notify you by email of the outcome.
3. Payments
- Payment is processed by Stripe. Your card is authorised (held) at the time of booking but not charged until the reservation is confirmed.
- If the booking fails or is unavailable, the hold is cancelled and no charge is made.
- Prices are displayed in Japanese Yen (JPY) and include a platform service fee.
- Currency conversion fees, if any, are charged by your card issuer.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
- Cancellation policies are set by each individual golf course and are displayed during booking where available.
- PinShot does not guarantee refunds for cancellations — these are subject to each course's own policy.
- If we are unable to complete your booking, you will receive a full refund of any amount charged.

5. User Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate personal and contact information.
- You are responsible for arriving at the course at the correct time and complying with the course's rules and dress code.
- You must ensure your party size matches the booking.
- PinShot is not liable for any issues arising at the course itself.
6. Limitation of Liability
PinShot is a booking facilitation tool. We are not responsible for:
- Course closures, weather cancellations, or changes to course conditions
- Errors or changes on the course's own booking system
- Service disruptions beyond our reasonable control
Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific booking in question.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. The "last updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
